Terms
of Service
All services provided by Impresso Design Studio are subject
to the following terms and conditions. These policies have been
put into place to protect both the client and Impresso Design
Studio. By purchasing any service, you are agreeing to the terms
and conditions as expressed below.
Design Services
Payment
A 50% deposit must be made to start your project. No design
service will begin until both the payment is made and the signed
contract is received. The client understands that when design
is release, the remaining 50% will be due.
Completion
Date
Impresso Design Studio and the client must work together to
complete the design project in a timely manner. The first set
of clients proofs are delivered within 2-8 business days. However,
Impresso Design Studio cannot guarantee deadlines as each project
is unique and so is each client. Impresso Design Studio will
communicate with the client during the entire development of
the project and provide them with status updates.
Hourly
Rate/Revisions
The client is allowed one (1) major round of revisions for their
design. Minor revisions are accepted throughout the design process
within reason. If you the client should go over this amount,
a fee will be required. Hourly rates start at $50.00.
Project
Delivery
Upon completion of the project, all files will be sent to the
client. You will own the rights to your design once it is complete.

Web Design
Services
Authorization
The client is engaging Impresso Design Studio, a sole proprietor,
as an independent contractor. The client hereby authorizes Impresso
Design Studio to access any hosting or domain account for the
sole purpose of installing and updating the web product. The
client also authorizes the hosting service to provide Impresso
Design Studio with complete access to the client's account and
any other programs needed for this web design project as deemed
necessary by the client/designer agreement.
Hourly
Rate/Revisions
The client is allowed one (1) major round of revisions for their
web design. Major revisions include a completely new layout,
new graphics, new features or functionality. Minor revisions
are accepted throughout the design process within reason. If
you the client should go over this amount, a fee will be required.
Hourly rates start at $45.00.
Development
The design project will be developed using various commercial
software products. While Impresso Design Studio will make every
effort to design a fully functional website the warranty does
not cover AOL, text-based browsers or any other special effects.
Any claims for defects, corrections, or glitches must be made
within 14 days of the project being completed. All requests
made after the 14 day period may be subject to additional fees
at the normal hourly rate.
Completion
Impresso Design Studio works hard to complete all projects in
a timely manner and will provide the client with an estimated
time of delivery for the project (usually 60 days from start
to finish). However, Impresso Design Studio cannot guarantee
deadlines as each project is unique and so is each client. Impresso
Design Studio will communicate with the client during the entire
development of the project and provide them with status updates.
If the client does not supply Impresso Design Studio with complete
text and graphic content for this web design project within
15 days of the date of the purchase agreement, the contract
becomes void and any deposits are forfeited.
Payment
of Fees and Expenses
A payment of 50% shall be remitted upon signing the contract.
No web design will begin until both the payment is made and
the signed contract is received. The client understands that
before installation, the remaining 50% will be due. Upon receipt
of final payment, the website design will be published to the
client's hosting service. All payments will be made in U.S.
funds. If paying by check, you agree that should your bank return
your check for any reason, you will be liable for any additional
fees incurred by Impresso Design Studio. You further agree that
should your bank return your check(s), for any reason, Impresso
Design Studio will charge you a $30.00 fee and you will be responsible
for payment in full upon notification by your bank, and/or Impresso
Design Studio. If final payment is not received within 30 days
of the completion of service, additional fees will be added.
Hosting
The client understands that hosting services are not included
with the web design project. The client will be solely responsible
for any and all hosting service charges. Credit and Use of Products.
The Impresso Design Studio copyright and credit information
must remain on all of our products. We require that the text
link back to www.impressodesignstudio.com remain in place and
in working order. All preliminary proofs including graphics,
layouts, etc, which are not selected by the client remain the
full property of Impresso Design Studio and may be used in future
projects for other clients.
Copyrights
and Trademarks
Copying images, text or design layouts from other sites is not
condoned by Impresso Design Studio. Any text, images and products
provided must be owned by the client and must have expressed
written permission to use. Under NO circumstances will Impresso
Design Studio be held liable for content provided by a client
on a client website. The client will be responsible for paying
any and all legal expenses that are a result of lawsuit against
Impresso Design Studio for graphics, images and/or content which
is provided by and used by the client.
Copyright
to Web Pages
Copyright to the finished assembled work of web pages produced
by Impresso Design Studio is owned by Impresso Design Studio.
Upon final payment of the contract, the client is assigned rights
to use as a web site the design, graphics, and text contained
in the finished assembled web site. The copyright must remain
in tact and visible on the site. Under no circumstances shall
a site be duplicated, sold or redistributed. The client must
use the products as they were intended by Impresso Design Studio.
When final payment is made, ownership transfers to the client
but the copyright must remain in tact. The client may not alter
or reuse the HTML, XHTML and/or CSS coding that is provided
to without the direct written consent of Impresso Design Studio.
Consultation
The client will receive a consultation once the site has been
completed and turned over to them. Impresso Design Studio will
go through basic functions to help familiarize the client with
their site. Support E-mail support is available for 30 days
after the site has been completed and turned over to the client.
After 30 days, there may be a hourly charge for support. This
will depend on each individual situation

Quotes
& Contracts
Quotes provided will be honored for 30 days. A new quote will
then be provided upon request. Contracts that have been written
will only be accepted within 30 days of the delivery date. A
new contract may be drawn up upon request.
Cancellation
In the event of Cancellation, any payments made prior to cancellation
shall be retained by Impresso Design Studio.
Impresso Design Studio retains ownership of all copyrights and
any original artwork.
Refunds
Impresso Design Studio does not provide refunds (unless agreed
upon by both the client and Impresso Design Studio). This also
includes any deposits paid. The client must submit termination
of services to in writing. In the event of a cancellation of
contract, ownership of all artwork, layouts and development
remain the property of Impresso Design Studio and will NOT be
transferred to the client.
Non-Communication
If Impresso Design Studio is unable to communicate with a client
on a project for a duration of at least thirty days (30) by
phone or email during the design and development process, the
project will be canceled without prior notice and any monies
paid will be forfeited to Impresso Design Studio.
Material
All the text, pictures and logos need to be provided by the
customer, via email or CD.
If the customer needs to buy pictures, there will be an extra
charge of $30 per picture.
Clients will be notified and the amount will be added to the
invoice.
If the client has not provided material necessary to complete
the project within 30 days of the date this contract is signed,
this action may be considered Cancellation. Forfeiture of Contract
will be handled.
Ownership
of prelimary design work
Impresso Design Studio retains ownership of all preliminary
designs.
Alterations and Use
No alterations or revisions of any kind are allowed on any of
products designed by Impresso Design Studio without direct written
consent. All preliminary proofs that include graphics, layouts,
etc, which are not selected by the client remain the full property
of Impresso Design Studio and may be used in future projects
for other clients.
Privacy
Policy
Impresso Design Studio does not share any information you provide
to us to any parties (public or private).
You
will receive an emailed receipt for your transaction. If you

Acceptance
Please note that by submitting your payment for my services
you are agreeing to all of the terms of service as written here.
